Our process
How we clean it
Check the roof material
Glass and polycarbonate need slightly different care, so we check which you have before starting.
Clear moss and grime
Algae, moss and general grime are cleared from the roof panels and glazing bars by hand and pole.
Clean the framework
The surrounding framework and ridge cresting are wiped down at the same time, so the whole roof structure looks consistent.
Rinse for maximum light
A final rinse with purified water leaves the roof clear, letting more natural light into the room below.
Tools & equipment we use
- Water-fed pole with a soft brush head
- Purified water system
- Panel-safe cleaning solution
- Soft cloths for the surrounding framework
Our recommendation
A conservatory roof is easy to overlook, since it's rarely at eye level. A clean once or twice a year keeps the light coming through and stops algae taking hold long-term.
